Why did I choose linen?

I love making clothes. Giving people something beautiful, something that will make them feel good, comfortable and colorful, is the best part of sewing.
I really like the practical approach to completing the wardrobe and I became close to the idea of clothing minimalism.
Not only for the practical, but also environmental and ethical reasons, I began to explore the topic of conscious shopping.
That's when I decided to make linen clothes.

Why?

Linen is one of the most durable fabrics. If you take good care of your linen clothes, they will last for many, many years. They will not stretch out, lose their
colour and every next wash makes them softer and smoother.

Thanks to the fact that linen clothes are so durable, we buy them way less frequently, acting in opposition to still very popular
fast fashion, which clutters up our wardrobes, and above all, polutes the planet with plastic waste.
Moreover, linen is a natural and biodegradable fabric.

Last, but not least, I take into consideration the work conditions of people who make clothes which I'm willing to buy.
That's why I buy linen from trusted producers, so I know that my clothes - from the moment of fabric production, to attaching the label to a ready
garment - are made in ethical conditions.

I sew clothes myself in my small home workshop. I deal with the whole process of making clothes. I design, create patterns and sew.
Each piece of clothing is created with love and attention to every detail.
